Burn. I have a burning desire to dance and to meet like-minded people.
Burn. This is the word prompt for the daily post prompt at wordpress.com. Burn. The first thing that comes to mind is the burn of whiskey, I just took a whiskey class at The Boston Wine School and my blog is wine and meaning so you see the theme? But honestly, burn conjures other images. The burn of a summer day; my nose is red and peeling; the burn of my dogs feet on the pavement as we walk on a wicked hot summer day. Burn. I burnt brussel sprouts last time I cooked them. Burn. The burning desire for me to leave my NP job and become a FT writer. The burning desire to have an intimate, authentic, vulnerable yet joyful and humor filled relationship with someone.
Burn. My calves are burning today after last night participation in a 5 Rhythms dance led by Aaron Lifshin at the Arlington Center in Arlington, Ma. This past Sunday enjoyed 5 Rhythms dance led by Margaux Skalecki in Somerville, Ma, my calves burned again. Burned by an ex-boyfriend. Burn. A burning desire for joy and for freedom. The burn in my heart and soul when a long time friend won’t or can’t authentically connect by being truly honest and vulnerable. Burn.
